About the role

The UX Copywriter will be on the Marketing team and work cross functionally with the Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to plan, create, and maintain copy as an integral part of the user experience. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining Argyle’s voice across all product touch-points. We are looking for someone who can explain complex topics quickly in a way that’s not just educational, but useful to an audience who is unfamiliar with our product.

What will you do?

  • Plan, write, and document clear and compelling product copy that facilitates user navigation, as well on-boarding, promos, error messages, product emails, instructional materials, and other components of the end-to-end user experience
  • Partner with Design and Product to bring coherence and consistency to UX copywriting efforts within product tools and features
  • Manage projects end-to-end: from the initial gathering of required information from colleagues to writing copy, to editing and publishing
  • Work with Product Managers to ensure the copy throughout follows the Argyle Style Guide and helps create a positive user experience within the product
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread copy written by others, and support teammates as they improve in your speciality

What are we looking for

  • 3 years of experience as a UX copywriter, with a portfolio of examples where you have made complex processes easy to understand
  • Experience working alongside product managers, designers, and product marketers on a daily basis to build compelling product experiences
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience articulating the rationale behind your work, from high-level strategy to language choices, with thinking grounded in UX principles
  • Experience working on multiple simultaneous projects and delivering on time
  • Familiarity with APIs or other infrastructure level tooling
