At Argyle, we recognize that employment data is owned by the individual it represents. By building the first gateway to employment data, we’re unlocking a dataset that has been monopolized by a single giant corporation (name omitted because of decorum) for 70 years. In turn, we’re making it easier, faster, better, wiser for innovative companies to put employment data to work for their users, enabling access to products and services that improve lives.

If you rent an apartment, buy a car, refinance a home, apply for a loan — the first question you’ll often be asked, “how do you make money?“. You’d think information so foundational to our economy would be simple to manage, transfer and control — but it isn’t.

Argyle is the easiest way for people to instantly share their income and employment data with any product or service. Users exercise complete control over how their data is accessed, and businesses receive real-time access to this data via the Argyle API.

We’re looking to organize and evolve the way we manifest our brand to the outside world. Argyle is a complex technology-driven business. It’s not an easy task to communicate what we do and articulate our value proposition clearly. It’s even harder to ensure we do that consistently across mediums and touchpoints and every time we upgrade an aspect of our messaging or graphic design it propagates frictionlessly towards the existing set of products and sales collateral. Being the first brand manager at Argyle you’ll come in to bring clarity to the way we talk about business, create and update assets. You’ll bring best practices and ideas from the industry and your previous place of work to take our brand to the next level.

About the team

The brand manager at Argyle will work closely with our design, marketing, revenue, and product teams as well as our content creation and design vendors. As Argyle is a remote-first company, your colleagues and partners will be located across continents and time zones. All of us are world-class professionals in our respective fields and we’re looking forward to welcome you to the club.

What will you do?

The brand manager will curate the way the Argyle brand is manifested across mediums. We envision a place where you will:

  • Take ownership of our brand messaging guidelines
  • Undertake a project of creating design guidelines
  • Organize a library of sales and marketing collateral
  • Create a clear and coherent brand maintenance system
  • Continuously track how the understanding of our business and product evolves across departments and document that shift
  • Initiate projects and action items for the design, content, and marketing teams

We’re looking for a self-organized and proactive person with relevant experience who enjoys establishing working relationships with teammates and stakeholders and knows what needs to be done for a brand to grow successfully and consistently. You’ll enter a somewhat hectic startup environment with a mission to bring in structure and organization while ensuring that our world-class creativity continues thriving.
