About the team

The Sales team's mission is to have Argyle become the leading employment data platform. We achieve this by combining product, technical, and industry knowledge to help our customers build amazing products. We put ourselves in the shoes of our clients, understanding their pain points and how our offering can solve their needs. We believe that there is incredible value in harnessing payroll information, and we help create and implement solutions for our clients to leverage that data.

What will you do?

  • Lead and coach a team of A+ smart and motivated AE’s and SDR’s
  • Build and enhance our repeatable sales motions in the verticals we want to win
  • Serve as a cornerstone member of the Go-To-Market leadership team, setting and communicating strategic direction
  • Work collaboratively with the team to manage the sales process, set sales targets, set pricing frameworks, and coordinate handoffs to the Customer Success Organization
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscape, and work with our product team to translate customer feedback into product features
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with clients while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs. Serve as the executive escalation point for the sales team for interactions with client executives
  • Build strong relationships cross functionally with Marketing, Rev Ops, Customer Success, Partnerships, Legal, and R&D to maximize team and company success

Requirements?

  • 7-10 years of demonstrated strong sales or sales-related background
  • Proven experience leading sales teams, or willing to make a jump to managing a larger team
  • Fintech background with a demonstrated history of selling into financial services
  • Strong technical product knowledge and experience selling a technical product
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Experience working in a startup/high-growth environment
