On April 7th, Argyle Link is getting an upgrade. The Argyle team has been hard at work improving the visual experience for Link users. This update is exclusively to enhance Link’s look and feel and will not impact any endpoints or data connection to Console.

To improve the integration experience for Link SDK, the minimum supported versions for Android and iOS have been increased. The minimum supported versions are:
payDistributionAutoTriggerparameter was added to the Link configuration. By setting it to
true, the deep linked returning users are taken directly to the Pay distribution screen, if a pay distribution configuration is provided.
payDistributionReviewScreenSubtitleparameters have changed. For more information, please refer to the Link Customization Guide.
onError callback is now also available on Web SDK. Furthermore,
onError has been improved with additional error types.
We removed the concept of Primary for percentage allocations from the PD Review and PD Edit screens in Link.
When your users are prompted with percent allocations, they will see an actual percent value instead of the word "Primary".
The title and subtitle in the PD Review screen now can be customized through the
payDistributionReviewScreenSubtitle parameters, respectively.
Document upload is live! In the rare case when your user cannot find their employer or payroll provider in Argyle Link—or is unsuccessful after a login attempt—you can give them the option to quickly and easily upload a W-2, 1099, and paystubs to verify their income.
Refer to our Document upload guide for more details.
The document upload feature is disabled by default. You can enable it via the Link Customizer.
Note: If you integrate with our Android SDK, Document upload is only supported on devices running Android 26 or above (Oreo). The feature will be hidden for users running an older version of Android.
Now, when the user clicks the Can't find your employer? button in Link, which is enabled by default, they will be asked to submit a questionnaire containing their employer name and select the associated payroll platform (if available). You can retrieve the answers to this questionnaire either by the Users tab in Console or via API.
showBackToSearchButtonattribute is used to show/hide the button).
Link Analytics is live. The new
onUIEvent callback now allows monitoring users’ activity within Argyle Link.
excludeLinkItems parameters were added to the Link configuration. These parameters allow you to hide specified categories and Link items from Link.
allow_editing parameter was added to the pay distribution configs. By setting it to
false, you can remove the Edit button in the PD Review screen.
enable_suggestions parameter was added to the pay distribution configs. In the context of a new pay allocation making changes to other allocations (i.e. percent allocations being redistributed) this parameter allows you to control whether the user is suggested new pay allocations or has to input them manually.
A new optional attribute was added to the pay distribution configs. Setting
false, re_ove_ the Add bank account button in the PD Edit screen.
A new flag for Argyle Link configuration was added.
closeOnOutsideClick toggles the closing of Link when a user clicks outside the bounds of the UI element provided by Argyle.
