As part of the onboarding process, Checkr’s customers’ new employees are asked to share their historical employment information. Historically, that meant requiring new employees to enter their previous work experience and upload evidentiary documents supporting their claims. Checkr was then responsible for reviewing these materials and manually verifying them by phone or email. In total, the process took 1-4 business days.
