We’ve seen exceptional growth and industry-wide recognition for our automated VOIE solution as lender demand continues to climb.
After three quarters in 2024, Argyle’s mortgage division is already surpassing the gains we made all of last year.
We’ve added 58 new customers between banks, independent mortgage banks (IMBs), and credit unions, bringing our mortgage customer count well above 100. We’ve also increased our annual volume of income and employment verifications by 166%, meaning we’ve handled over 85,000 verifications so far this year. And that’s just scratching the surface.
As we head into the year’s home stretch, let’s take a moment to recap the product enhancements, industry accolades, and business results our standout mortgage team has secured in 2024—helping Argyle remain the highest-performing mortgage verification solution on the market.
Breaking new ground
Argyle made some big strides this year when it came to building our strategic partnerships and expert network.
Among other accomplishments:
- We became an approved third-party service provider for Freddie Mac’s Asset and Income Modeler (AIM)—a key capability in their Loan Product Advisor® (LPA℠) solution. This only adds to the momentum we started last year, when we were the first consumer-permissioned VOIE provider approved for Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter® (DU®) validation service, a component of Day 1 Certainty®.
- We expanded our integrations with leading point-of-sale (POS) and loan origination systems (LOS)—including ICE Mortgage Technology®, Floify, nCino, and Byte Software—so customers can leverage Argyle with the software they’re already using.
- We joined The Mortgage Collaborative as a preferred partner, providing members of the nation’s largest independent mortgage cooperative discounted access to our high-converting, exceedingly accurate VOIE tools.
- Finally, we partnered with Mastercard to build a credentialed payroll feature into their Open Banking for Lending program—ensuring lenders get frictionless digital access to granular income and employment data.
Going for gold
Thanks to these advances, both Argyle’s platform and team were recognized by some of the top voices and institutions in the mortgage space.
As a company, Argyle:
- Ranked fifth in the personal finance category of Fast Company’s list recognizing the world’s Most Innovative Companies
- Won a Silver Stevie® at the 22nd annual American Business Awards for our work streamlining the verification process
- Made our official debut on HousingWire’s Tech100 as the most forward-thinking company in mortgage
- Received the PROGRESS in Lending Association’s 2024 Innovations Award, recognizing us as a mortgage industry leader
Our talented team won big, too.
Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman was honored as a 2024 Tech All-Star by the Mortgage Bankers Association and featured on Inman’s Best in Finance list.
Key members of our leadership team were also recognized by HousingWire. Argyle’s principal mortgage customer success manager Rowdy Harris was named a 2024 HousingWire Insider, while COO Brian Geary received HousingWire’s 2024 Vanguard Award for driving our strategic partnerships.
Driving results
Of course, these achievements would mean little if they didn’t translate to business outcomes for our customers.
We’re proud to report that Argyle’s mortgage customers are seeing conversion rates consistently above 55% and cost savings of 80% compared to legacy solutions—and, in 2024, we took many of their operations to the next level.
For example, direct mortgage lender Amerisave launched a custom integration with Argyle and began seeing real value in less than three weeks. Now, they get more relief from GSE reps and warranties than they have with any other VOIE provider.
Meanwhile, Delta Community Credit Union confirmed success rates over 60% when verifying income and employment through Argyle. Plus, they saved $39 per member on verification costs, worked with noticeably better data integrity, and landed an NPS score of 80.
Investing in our future
Argyle’s growth this year was supported by a $30 million Series C funding round, which allowed us to further invest in white-glove customer service and seamless system integrations.
We’re looking forward to future challenges, partnerships, and opportunities, so we can continue to transform mortgage loan originations—and income and employment verifications more generally—for the better.
